Heat Treatment: Safe and Effective Solution For Infestations

Traditional methods for eliminating bed bugs include the use of chemicals, which can be effective when used properly. However, bed bugs can develop resistance to certain chemicals over time, making them less effective.

Heat treatment offers a safe and effective alternative to traditional methods. By using specialized equipment, we are able to raise the temperature in a room or building to a level that is lethal for bed bugs, without the use of harmful chemicals. Our team also utilizes chemical treatments in conjunction with heat treatment for optimal results, depending on the specific circumstances of the infestation.

Our goal is to provide effective and efficient bed bug treatment services to our clients, using the most appropriate and effective methods for each unique situation.

How Heat Treatment Works

Bed bugs can be a major problem for homeowners, but we have a solution to get rid of them. To eliminate bed bugs and their eggs, we use heat treatment by pumping high temperatures directly into the affected room. Our special heater raises the temperature to over 140°F and maintains it for 40 minutes or more, ensuring that all bed bugs and their eggs are eliminated.

Our team takes our job seriously and makes sure to treat all rooms affected by bed bugs. This way, we can ensure that we have gotten rid of every last bed bug. However, we don’t stop there. To cover all bases, we use chemical treatment after the heat treatment. This guarantees the elimination of any bed bugs that may have survived the heat treatment.

Our goal is to provide our customers with a safe, long-lasting, and effective solution to their bed bug problem. We achieve this by using a combination of heat treatment and chemical treatment, which eliminates bed bugs and their eggs quickly and efficiently.

Heat Treatment Benefits

  • Effectiveness: Has a higher success rate than chemical treatments alone and eliminates bed bugs at all life stages.

  • Speed: It can be completed in a single day, minimizing disruption to your home or business.
  • Non-Toxicity: A safe and non-toxic solution that leaves no residue or requires cleanup after treatment.
  • Penetration: Heat penetrates all areas of a room or building, including cracks and crevices where bed bugs may hide.
  • Comprehensive: Treats an entire room or building, ensuring all bed bugs are eliminated.
  • Prevention: Can also be used as a preventive measure, stopping bed bug infestations before they start.

Heat Treatment Preparation

When it comes to getting rid of bed bugs, high heat is a powerful tool. However, it’s important to remember that not all items in your home can handle extreme temperatures. Items that contain glue, plastics, food, or are canned can be damaged or even explode when exposed to high heat.

At our company, we take every precaution to ensure that your belongings are safe during our treatment process. Before we begin our work, we’ll ask you to remove any delicate or heat-intolerant items from the treated rooms. We’ll provide you with a detailed notice that tells you exactly what to take out to prevent any damage.

We’ll also ask you to move some items around so that the heat can properly penetrate affected areas, such as clothes or linens. Our goal is to make sure that our treatment is effective at getting rid of bed bugs while also ensuring that your belongings are protected.

Make Sure to Remove

  • Firearms and Ammo
  • Animals Including Fish
  • Food and Drink
  • Antique Furniture
  • Picture Frames
  • Cardboard and Aerosols
  • Medicine and Vitamins
  • Wax Based Makeup
  • Wood and String Instruments
  • Anything Vinyl

After the Heat Treatment

What to do after our treatment? Well, we generally ask you to stay out of your home for a couple of hours. But afterward, you can bring your furniture back to its proper location. We offer a 3-month warranty in case they come back. The warranty is only valid if you do both heat and chemical treatment. This is because only heat or chemical is not 100% guaranteed to remove them all. This is why we do comprehensive spraying and heating.

Congratulations you now have a bed bug-free home!
